Regular exams are a vital part of your pet’s overall health. I will evaluate your pet’s health and wellbeing by conducting a thorough exam and ensuring that they stay up to date on vaccinations and other preventative care. My aim is to catch potential problems before they become serious ones. I recommend a regular health and well-being exam for your pet once a year.

I am also able to evaluate and treat minor health problems for your pet such as ear, eye or skin infections, minor wound repairs and prescribe pain medications for acute or chronic pain conditions.

One of the most important aspects of caring for your pet is vaccinating them against potential diseases. There is simply no better way to protect your pet! In addition to standard vaccinations, I also offer some optional vaccines which your pet might need. Together we can decide whether or not your pet needs extra vaccinations to stay healthy.

Saying goodbye to a loved family member is one of the hardest decisions pet parents have to make. As your vet, I will strive to make the process as gentle and as easy as possible for both you and your pet. As a pet owner, I understand how important it is to take a thoughtful, gentle and humane approach when euthanasia is required. If it’s not yet time to say goodbye, or maybe you’re not sure, I’m here to offer advice and provide in home care to make sure your pet’s last days are as comfortable as possible. If it is time, I’ll help you to understand the procedure and address and discuss your fears, concerns and questions about the euthanasia process. Doing this in the pet’s home helps reduce the stress and fear associated with an office visit or leaving their own territory. This is your time to say goodbye and we can do this at the pace both you and your pet require.

I will provide a sedative to make sure your pet’s anxiety is reduced and that their last memory is of your love rather than an injection given to them by a stranger. I will make sure to treat your pet as if it were my own, gently and with respect.
